Since 1952, Moroso has already been in close collaboration with some of the world’s most talented designers to produce luxury sofas and seating. Today the company is a great example of how a small Italian artisan/owner company has evolved since it was run until the 90s.

An image-form drawn without ever removing the pencil off the paper in a continuous flow of curved lines. Originally a ‘doughnut’ that served as inspiration for a sculpture, it was squashed and modified with irony to go beyond the normal industrial design approach.

The cushioning and sewn-to-measure upholstery over an inner fibreglass frame then disclose the relationship between the design’s technical and artistic aspects. Its never-ending lines are delicate but powerful, achieving perfect harmony between surface and form, body and skin. The cloth reaches out into the area surrounding it, amplifying and confirming the piece’s physicality yet not interfering with or overriding its fluidity.

Polyurethane foam of various densities, stress-resistant, atop a fiberglass-reinforced resin and steel frame. Legs are tubular varnished steel with adjustable chromed steel slides. With the exception of leather versions, all covers are removable.

Every effort is made during our refurbishment process to make your chair look as good as new or as near to new as we possibly can. This process includes a thorough deep clean, a frame re-spray if necessary, replacement gas, new arm caps and a complete re-cover with new fabric or leather. Once your chair is ready for despatch, it is inspected once more before packing. Your refurbished office chair will arrive in a tri-walled cardboard to protect it during transit. If it being delivered with our own transport, it will be covered in plastic sheeting.
