The Contessa task chair from Teknion is designed for different body shapes, a refined look, enhanced adjustment mechanisms, increased strength and durability guarantee unsurpassed comfort and performance. The chair’s back and seat frames have been revised to be lighter and thinner, boosting the chair’s sophistication and elegance in the workplace.
- Standard pneumatic cylinder provides height adjustment of 4.5 inches
- “Smart operation” adjustment enables user to adjust seat height from the seated position
- “Smart operation” adjustment enables user to set the tilt control from the seated position and make continuous adjustments. Back can be locked in five positions or left to free flow
Four settings provide minimum to maximum tension - Correct tension keeps user’s back in contact with chair – gives spine the critical support needed to maintain normal alignment
- Height raises or lowers up to 2-1/4 inches
- Responds uniquely to individual’s back curve depth and force
- Seat depth adjustment up to 2 inches

If it being delivered with our own transport, it will be covered in plastic sheeting.

Quality product & great service
The chair itself was very well constructed and the refurbishment quality was excellent. Initially it felt very comfortable, however the seat cushion support was not great and I personally could not sit in it for more than an hour without feeling very uncomfortable. I persevered from about a week before deciding was not going to work for me, so I exchanged for a Herman Miller Aeron which I am very happy with. Customer service were very helpful and arranged delivery of the replacement / collection of the return very quickly and efficiently.

Needed a new chair for my home office, where I spend a considerable amount of time. As such, I needed something that was commercial grade, rather than something that looked good but was cheap.
Corporate Spec enabled my to get that quality at a great price. The purchase process was seamless, as was delivery with full tracking. An issue I had with invoicing (my fault) was correct within 48 hours.
The chair itself is of excellent quality and fully operational. Will use Corp Spec again for any similar requirement.
